February is dental awareness month and so in preschool we have talked about good hygiene and keeping our teeth clean and healthy. We took a field trip to MyKid's Dental for a tour of a dentist's office. This picture kind of makes me laugh because this is the dentist, and we only saw the dentist for maybe 2 minutes, enough time for him to come out and say "hi!" to the kids and to get a picture with the kids. The rest of the hour we were with the "office manager, Chad" and he is the one who talked with the kids and gave them the tour. A little different I thought. I was proud of the preschool kids, they were all pretty brave and wanted to participate. At the end the kids were given a toothbrush and goody bag to take home.
